Sr Buyer

Serve as primary lead responsible for purchasing and negotiation materials, corrugated, equipment, components, and services from suppliers. Purchasing responsibilities include but are not limited to contractual agreements, generation/review purchase reports, cost savings initiatives, supplier quality improvements, metric generation/review and purchase expediting as necessary. This position communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers including Finance, IT, Operations and Customer Service. This role will lead new product sourcing supplier initiatives including supplier selection to meet program deliverables.

• Ability to take decisions, work under pressure, oriented to objectives, proactive, organized, analytic, self motivated, Personable and cooperative attitude in order to effectively deal with the variety of individuals and situations encountered in the purchasing environment. Possess high ability to deal courteously and effectively and maintain consistent professional image and presentation with vendor contacts via telephone and in person. Working in a team environment to accomplish individual ,department and company goals.
• Level of purchasing knowledge and experience gained through working in a purchasing environment .Familiar with Supply Chain Management.
• High level knowledge in the use of MS-Office(Excel, Word, PP) Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

•Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related field

• Plant experience preferred

• 3-5 years
