Senior Project Manager MX - Guadalajara Program Management (PRG)

Senior Project Manager

SPAN Digital | Hybrid | Guadalajara, Mexico

About SPAN

SPAN Digital is a growing premium software product and consulting company with Headquarters in San Francisco, USA, and Development offices in Cape Town, South Africa, and Guadalajara, Mexico. We strategize, design, and develop software solutions for our clients and customers from startups to global brands. We help engineering teams successfully overcome the challenges caused by the accelerating pace of change in software development, allowing them to build better digital solutions. Our Services teams work side‑by‑side with client engineering teams to build prototypes, proofs‑of‑concept, production services, and major product enhancements. Our Product teams turn what we learn from that work into tools and SaaS products that help engineering teams handle that same fast‑moving landscape.

About the Role

Are you ready to deliver SPAN's most ambitious software initiatives to achieve real business outcomes? As a Senior Project Manager at SPAN Digital, you'll be the person client stakeholders and engineering teams count on to turn complex, distributed initiatives into high‑quality, valuable software. This isn't just about running standups and updating a JIRA board. It's about owning results, navigating tradeoffs, and growing the relationships that keep clients coming back.

With 7+ years of project management experience in a software engineering environment, you'll work at the intersection of delivery and client partnership, coordinating remote and distributed teams while keeping the business outcome in view. Engineers and fellow project managers will look to you for mentorship, and clients will lean on you to lead the team effort through their toughest challenges. And as a senior leader on the ground in our Guadalajara office, you'll bring a growth mindset to build SPAN's presence locally and overall business more broadly.

What You’ll Do

Drive Delivery Execution

You'll define projects, build the work plans, and own the budget from kickoff to close. Managing several concurrent projects with remote and distributed teams while priorities shift is standard practice, not the exception. You'll use AI tools to synthesize status, draft communications, surface risk, and accelerate documentation, because that's part of how we work now.

Lead with Impact

Lead, motivate, and unblock project teams across the company, working with staff at every level of the organization. You'll exceed expectations and align project success to the client's actual business outcomes, not just the scope on paper, and by communicating status, milestones, and difficulties clearly.

Grow Talent & Culture

Mentor individuals through one‑to‑one involvement in their people management, not just their task list. You'll foster a team culture people want to stay on, mentor engineers, and help execute growth plans, because a delivery team is only as strong as the people running it.

Partner with Clients & Grow the Business

Build the trusted relationships that turn a single engagement into a lasting one, and open the door to new ones. You'll facilitate client working sessions and multi‑day workshops to solve real business problems, navigate difficult conversations and negotiate scope, timeline, and resource tradeoffs directly with stakeholders, and identify and pursue opportunities for follow‑on and expanded engagements while still delivering on what's in front of you.

Drive Program Management Excellence

Contribute to adopting, mentoring, and improving the processes and procedures behind SPAN's Program Management discipline. You'll help the practice get sharper with every engagement, not just deliver against it.
