Business Analyst Sr. (San Juan del Río)

The Senior Business Analyst will comprehend corporate procedures, create plans to maximize production and efficiency and reduce complexity in reporting, supporting the budget analysis, operational metrics and saving initiatives of the 5 SBUS (Auto, Industrial, Refinish, Packaging and Aerospace) in San Juan del Rio, Mexico.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory controls and cost analysis and efficiencies.
• Work with operations to prepare budget for Cost per Unit Close review of Manufacturing variances and Spending.
• Work with Cost Accounting team on actions to keep proper inventory levels and calculate Obsolete reserves in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the analysis and tracking of Fixed and Variable Cost and booking of expenses.
• Responsible for SG&A reports for different areas (e.g. Operations, HR, Marketing).
• Supports the analysis and documentation over Capital Projects.
• Perform financial statement analysis, create and interpret financial reports, identifying trends and providing insights to improve the company’s financial performance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, creating cost reduction strategies and implementing processes to ensure that the company has the most efficient and effective cost structure possible.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Preference of at least 5 progressive finance/FP&A roles.
• Manufacturing Sector experience (preferred).
• Experience in Multinational Companies.
• Strong experience in Month End Close Processes, Financial & Reporting.
• HFM and Oracle skills (Preferred).
• Ability to implement and improve accounting processes and controls to.
