Manufacturing process engineer (Isla Guadalupe)

Sanmina is looking for a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Engineer specialized in metal fabrication to join our Operations team! If you have a strong background in metalworking processes and a passion for implementing new production lines, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Process Development: Develop, implement, and control fabrication processes for new part numbers.
• Documentation: Create detailed Work Instructions, FMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead 5 S initiatives, including visual aids, labeling, and standardization.
• Technical Support: Review equipment requirements, support internal/external audits, and follow up on action plans or deviations.
• Operational Excellence: Support plant start-ups, new process introductions, and production transfers.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5–6 years of experience in the Metal-Mechanic industry.
• Technical Expertise: At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with at least three of the following: Press brakes, Laser cutting, Stamping, Rolling, Turret punching, or TIG/MIG Welding.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Auto CAD, Oracle, and Microsoft Office.
• Competencies: Strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Languages: Advanced English.
