• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
• 8 years of experience in vendor management and vendor agreements.
• 8 years of experience working in leading global vendor operations in technology companies or in management consulting.
• Experience in technology selling/consulting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
• Experience in project/program management and operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in prompt developing, model evaluation, and the creative application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Strong understanding of modern commercial models, with experience creating outcome-based or gain-share statements of work (SOWs).
• Proven track record in an operational consulting or client-facing advisory role, with success in influencing senior executives and driving large-scale change management.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a matrixed, global environment.

The Cloud Vendor Management Org (VMO) is at the forefront of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate customers' digital transformation. As the Vendor Solutions Consultant for Marketing, you will step away from legacy vendor oversight to serve as a strategic consultant and transformation ally to marketing leadership. Instead of just managing agencies, you will lead the evolution of outsourced marketing programs—spanning content production, campaign execution, digital strategy, and event management—into highly automated, high‑velocity engines.

In this role, you will co‑create next‑generation marketing workflows alongside strategic delivery partners. By embedding an AI‑first approach, designing smart governance frameworks, and transforming business workflows, you will support global growth. This position requires a sophisticated blend of marketing operations expertise, consulting acumen, and deep understanding of the emerging AI landscape. Ultimately, your efforts in reshaping a modern vendor ecosystem will drive exponential operational efficiency, scale brand reach, accelerate demand generation, and maximize marketing return on investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting for business support solutions (pitch, proposal, demos, POCs, helpdesk, etc.).
• Architect outsourced models with regional leaders and redesign partner workflows to unlock efficiency.
• Partner as a trusted advisor with global executive leaders (AMER, APAC, EMEA) to ensure alignment. Manage complex relationships with Sales/Marketing leaders.
• Scope and embed GenAI tools and advanced tech stacks into the vendor ecosystem to drive automation.
• Run strategic initiatives globally and provide leadership with data‑driven insights on business and cost impact. Monitor operational and compliance risks within vendor operations.
