JohnN Controls is looking for a Materials Buyer.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning: Develop and implement material plans to ensure timely availability of materials for production, minimizing downtime.
• Collaboration: Engage with cross‑functional teams including purchasing, production, and engineering to coordinate new product releases and address customer requirements.
• Schedule Management: Prepare and manage the demand production schedule, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and customer expectations.
• Supervision: Oversee materials coordinators and/or analysts, providing guidance and support to optimize material management processes.

Qualifications

• A University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in materials planning or purchasing.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in relevant software for materials management and scheduling.
