Job Description

As an Implementation Consultant (IC) , you are the strategic architect of client success, ensuring a software suite is deployed with precision and high-value alignment. You act as the critical bridge between complex business operations and technical execution. Your mission is to lead customer enablement by translating business needs into robust system configurations while adhering to industry-standard data management and software practices. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding enterprise clients through workshops, specification agreements, and the modernization of their data workflows.

Responsibilities

Strategic Implementation & Consulting

• Solution Leadership: Lead the configuration and enablement of the software, translating intricate customer needs into functional, scalable system solutions.

• Technical Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing data-driven guidance on best practices for software implementation to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.

• Specification Management: Author and adapt comprehensive functional specifications and test cases based on unique client requirements for both core products and custom integrations.

• Project Governance: Manage multiple concurrent customer-facing engagements, ensuring all deliverables meet Project Management timelines, budget constraints, and agreed-upon scopes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship

• Team Development: Support and mentor junior team members and new hires, taking accountability for the quality of delivery and fostering professional growth within the implementation team.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate seamless communication between Product/R&D, Developers, and Project Managers to resolve configuration issues, UAT blockers, and deployment bugs.

• Training & Enablement: Lead in-person and remote client workshops; support the training team in developing and delivering high-impact internal and external enablement materials.

• Operational Excellence: Participate in and lead internal initiatives focused on process improvement, product enhancement, and the definition of organizational best practices.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Standard Operating Procedures: Ensure all implementation activities comply with corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry data handling standards to guarantee data integrity.

• Quality Control: Lead issue resolution during client enablement, providing expert guidance on software usage and ensuring consistency in data migration and integration patterns.

• Integrity Advocacy: Support third-party vendors with integration and data transfer efforts, maintaining the stability and security of the client's software ecosystem.

Qualifications

Professional Competencies

• Technical Acumen : Solid analytical skills regarding web-based enterprise software applications, with the ability to translate technical product features into practical, real-world business examples.

• Problem Solving: Proven ability to think logically and solve complex configuration, data mapping, or software integration challenges in fast-paced environments.

• Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.

• Adaptability : Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while remaining adaptable to changing business needs and evolving product roadmaps.

Education & Experience

• Education : Minimum 4-year university/college degree (analytic or technical discipline preferred).

• Services Delivery: Prior experience in professional services delivery, software implementation, or technical IT consulting is required.

• Project Management:  Demonstrated success in supporting project teams, managing client expectations, and meeting strict project timelines.

• Industry Domain (Optional): Experience working within healthcare, medical, life sciences, or heavily regulated enterprise software environments is a significant plus but not required.

• T ravel : Willingness to travel to office locations and customer engagements as required by the business.
