Cloud Engineer

The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructures on Azure & GCP , ensuring high availability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.

This is a technical, hands-on engineering role , not an architecture position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage GCP and Azure cloud environments.
• Operate and support production systems (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization).
• Manage core cloud services:
• Compute, Storage, Networking
• IAM and security controls
• Backup, DR, and high availability
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Support cloud migrations and modernization projects.
• Work closely with networking and security teams.
• Implement cost optimization strategies (FinOps).
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Provide advanced (L3) support when required.

Technical Requirements

Cloud Platforms

• 5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and Azure .
• Azure: VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, Monitoring.

DevOps & Systems

• Linux administration.
• Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab).
• Docker and basic Kubernetes (AKS/EKS preferred).

Networking & Security

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Cloud security best practices.
• Experience collaborating with security teams.

Certifications

Required

• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
