Medical Science Liaison - Respiratory (Xico)

The Medical Science Liaison is a medical professional with strong scientific and therapeutic area expertise. This role focuses on developing and maintaining peer‑to‑peer relationships with medical experts, key opinion leaders, and stakeholders. MSLs engage in in‑depth medical and scientific product or disease area discussions and present them in a non‑promotional scientific context. The MSL will primarily support the company’s High Specialty Franchise in collaborating with a cross‑functional team to transform the therapeutic context of interest.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer‑to‑peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in the therapeutic area of interest (e.g., respiratory).
• Identify and engage the external community in robust scientific dialogue to generate insight and advance scientific and medical understanding.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the access strategy.
• Support clinical development initiatives, including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and follow‑up activities across the continuum (investigator‑sponsored studies, collaborative sponsored studies, GSK sponsored studies).
• Serve as a scientific, clinical, and medical content expert and partner within all areas of Medical Affairs; establish and maintain a compliant, supportive partnership with the Sales team and other counterparts within the Commercial organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine.
• Proven experience in a clinical area of respiratory or pulmonology fields.
• English level: Intermediate.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical specialization in the therapeutic area (respiratory).
