Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the accounts payable process.
• Review and validate invoices, including intercompany transactions.
• Monitor payment schedules, approvals, and supplier terms.
• Perform account, payment, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
• Prepare weekly payment proposals and cash flow forecasts.
• Control employee advances and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end closing, accruals, audits, tax requirements, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in AP operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting processes.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or another complex/regulatory industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems .
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient English , written and spoken.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
