Dfm Manufacturing Engineer (Ciudad Apodaca)

What will you do?

Participate in product industrialization activities, ensuring smooth transition from design, through prototyping, and to full-scale manufacturing.

How will you do it?

• Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams to develop and implement design for manufacturing (DFM) strategies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality teams to ensure processes, subassemblies, and tests are in place to ensure the manufacturing meets design intent and quality standards.
• Ensure released information for manufacture is aligned to integral manufacturing standards and is up to date with manufacturing best practices.
• Provide on-site production support as a representative of the product design.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited four‑year College or University is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in product manufacturing or development engineering with a very high percentage of time & experience on the factory floor in product and process development.
• Able to identify key elements requiring control plans in support of Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience reviewing drawings, schematics and models and providing helpful feedback in design review situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders and be able to address the differing needs of design teams, factories, and supply chains.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on data and analysis.
• Strong interest and knowledge of industry standards and best practices in manufacturing and design for manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of PLM, 3D modeling and ERP/MES systems software.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English is required.
