QUALITY DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Location: TLAQUEPAQUE, JALISCO

YOUR TASKS

• Analyzing technical customer requirements and ensuring they are implemented within the product engineering process (PEP).
• Ensuring the implementation and application of quality tools and methods within the development process (incl. System Engineering, Mechanical Design, HW and SW).
• Development of test strategies for validation of head lamp light modules.
• Performing reviews and assessments to ensure process compliance towards internal and external automotive standards and customer requirements.
• Support in further developing product and process qualification measures to secure lessons learned.
• Methodical support of the project team for risk analysis and problem solving.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering.
• 5 years of experience in quality / automotive industry, experienced product validation, product testing, and project launches, mechanical design knowledge preferable.
• Knowledge of automotive lighting technology (esp. light modules) preferable.
• Knowledge on quality core tools (Control plan, FMEA, measuring gauges, test equipment, dimensional management, GD&T).
• Problem‑solving (8D´s, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Good communication/ presentation skills, knowledge in product development processes and project management desirable.
• Fluent English Must.
• Willingness for business travel.
