Supervises the department to ensure timely and quality completion of task, and daily responsibilities. Sets goals for improvement. Provides technical assistance when necessary. Supervise Shuping, Receiving, Inventory Control and Warehousing relating to repairs, processing orders, inventory, and the daily functions of the department.

Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to "Total Customer Satisfaction" among team members.

1. Supervision of 10 or less direct or indirect employees.
2. Hires, schedules, instructs, and develops personnel.
3. Ensure they follow policies and procedures, and conducts performance evaluations.
4. Ensures direct reports are properly trained.
5. Performs hands on production 25% of working time.
6. Manages personnel and equipment to ensure the department has adequate resources to maintain total customer satisfaction.
7. Attends and conducts meetings and relays pertinent information back to team members. Maintains an effective communication system with staff.
8. Evaluates department processes for more efficient means and makes suggestions for improvements.
9. Ensures that products are complete, correct and ready for shipment.
10. Assists in monitoring metrics and alerts appropriate individuals when measurements are unfavorable.
11. Assists in budget planning.
12. Participates in establishing or amending departmental policies and procedures.
13. Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to specifications.
14. Works with sales and engineering personnel in resolving customers' technical problems.
15. Monitors and maintains inventory, and notifies appropriate individuals when replenishment is required.
16. Ensures that products are complete, correct and ready for shipment.
17. Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
18. Performs other related duties as assigned.
19. First responsible that trucks get shipped in a timely manner and with all the documentation necessary to deliver the product at destination.
20. Responsible for shipments to the customer.

Experiencia y requisitos

• 5 years of supervision experience in a shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control areas with proven abilities to exercise good judgment, organize work, and motivate team members.
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.
• A working knowledge of ERP, material systems, and ISO standards.
• Computer knowledge of PC based software such as Microsoft Office: specific areas would include strong skills in Excel and Word.
• 100% English (written and spoken).
• Able to maintain a nd lead conferences and attend customers in a polite and professional way.
