Junior High Science Teacher

Position Purpose

To ensure meaningful learning experiences aligned with the school’s academic program Canadian (Alberta) curriculum , as well as with the school’s formative approach based on the core values of Responsibility, Respect, Empathy, Cooperation, Honesty, and Love , fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Canadian (Alberta) curriculum using current, evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Design and maintain safe, inclusive, and well-structured learning environments that promote student engagement and well-being.
• Apply student-centered methodologies , including:
  • Inquiry-Based Learning
  • Project-Based Learning
  • Differentiated Instruction
• Provide ongoing academic and formative follow-up for students in close collaboration with the Psychopedagogical Support Team .
• Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with families and academic leadership.
• Actively participate in planning, assessment, and continuous professional development processes, contributing to a culture of reflection, growth, and educational excellence.
