Director of Sales & Distribution - Mexico

Your role as Director of Sales and Distribution is to grow revenue and profitability, providing sophisticated product solutions to our end user clients through our distribution network. Managing, educating our strategic dealerships to achieve sales goals and objectives will be a key focus.

Working closely with our VP, Sales and internal support departments to both support our strategic accounts/ dealerships and provide opportunities for profitable growth. The role will require in market support for our existing distributors, supplemented with the prospecting and onboarding of new strategic accounts within your territory. Act as the key liaison between Mexico and headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong relationship with Key strategic Dealership branch / sales organizations within your territory.
• Responsible for managing our existing master dealer in Mexico who has several offices within Mexico and manages 30-40 Dealer currently.
• Will have direct contact with these Dealers and assist the master dealer in management activities.
• Train and educate both new and prospective accounts to up sell the product portfolio.
• Target new distribution, on board and develop into long term relationship.
• Set goals and objectives for each strategic branch and manage activities accordingly.
• Conduct QBR’s identifying areas for mutual growth and executing to a business plan.
• Liaise with the Company's internal departments to provide a universal sales growth program.
• Conduct joint in field sales calls with branches / sales staff.
• Manage all sales activities within Salesforce.
• Partner with Inside sales support to create a professional, responsive, customer service focused approach to managing your dealer network.
• Work hand in hand with your distributors to promote / up sell more sophisticated products to our end user clients. Focus products will consist of Hydraulic docks, Air bag docks, vertical docks, vehicle restraints, dock lifts, shelters.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in the loading dock industry focusing on technical sales.
• Fluent English
• Goal oriented, team player
• Self motivated, self directed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with aptitude to build relationships.
• Ability to lead, train and educate sales organizations.
• Degree, diploma in business administration, sales, marketing, or relevant field.
