Store Development & Construction Coordinator, Vans

Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating new store openings, remodels, and retail construction projects across Mexico through external vendors, contractors, architects, and consultants. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Vans brand standards while partnering closely with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction, remodel, relocation, and store refresh projects.
  • Manage external vendors, contractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and execution milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with Vans store design standards and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate permits, site surveys, and construction readiness activities.
  • Track project expenditures and support budget control.
  • Partner with Retail, Finance, Facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure successful store openings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail construction, store development, architecture, or project management.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and external suppliers simultaneously.
  • Ability to review architectural drawings and construction documentation.
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.

Preferred

  • Experience in retail, apparel, footwear, or consumer brands.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and construction project management tools.
