Mattel Brick Shop is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Development, to lead our Product Development team in Monterrey, Mexico. In this role, you will drive the development of innovative construction toy products from concept through production, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products that delight consumers worldwide.

You will play a critical leadership role in building technical capabilities, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring products are optimized for quality, manufacturability, cost, and performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Product Development team.
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept through production launch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product concepts into manufacturable solutions.
• Establish and improve product development processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to resolve technical challenges and deliver projects on time.
• Support tooling development, production readiness, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure products meet Mattel's quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
• 10+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or technical project management within toys, consumer products, or related industries.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of product development, plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading products from concept through production.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and developing great consumer products.
