3PC Program Manager, 3P Commercial Carriers

The 3P Carrier Transportation team is seeking an experienced Program Manager III with expertise in online, e-commerce logistics or fulfillment. The role involves designing, launching, and promoting adoption of new transportation and fulfillment initiatives to enhance the customer experience for 3P Carriers Transportation services at Amazon. The candidate will work extensively with third-party carrier stakeholders to develop scalable, flexible, and reliable logistics solutions. Success in this role requires collaboration with 3P carriers, product teams, program teams, country leadership, finance, legal, and other internal stakeholders worldwide to deliver end-to-end scalable solutions that meet complex logistics needs and improve customer delivery experiences. Candidates should have a strong background in transportation and program management, excellent communication skills, and a drive to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define impactful strategies to optimize performance, speed, and cost of logistics services.
2. Lead and execute strategic initiatives.
3. Establish scalable mechanisms and processes for 3P carrier management across worldwide operations.
4. Be accountable for end-to-end logistics solutions for each program.
5. Benchmark to ensure the best processes and services for internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Proven ability to own program strategy, manage end-to-end delivery, and communicate results to senior leadership.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas, data cleansing, array formulas).
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in logistics management, operations, contracts, or procurement.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience driving process improvements.
• Master's degree or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative field.
