Supply Chain Project Manager

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field to the manufacturing or technical field

Experience

• Looking for a minimum of 8 years working in Electronics and ideally EMS in Purchasing, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of the electronics and manufacturing market, Strong IT skills and knowledge of tools such as Microstrategy and Rapid Response preferred.

Skills

• The ability to communicate well at all levels of our Organization (internal/external) with the ability to prepare and present to large groups.
• You should have the ability to be a self‐starter and work as an individual and as a group contributor, have the ability to solve simple and complex problems, have the ability to make decisions quickly with partial information.
• A quick learner who is able to work effectively with our Customers and our Integral Manufacturing Facilities as well as our Sales and Program Teams.
• Able to contribute to the development of new ideas and methods for effectively serving Customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the Supply Chain KPI's for our of our largest Customers Globally.
• This includes working with our Plants, our Integral Supply Chain Organisation and our Customer to put in place Logistics solutions that allow Sanmina to improve our Asset Management such as Inventory Turns.
• Work with our GSM Team and our Customer to improve Payment terms with Suppliers to improve our Cash Cycle days.
• Be the focal point with our Customer for Material issues and support where needed to ensure we are meeting our Customers Manufacturing needs.
• Support our Customers needs for all Material requirements such as Datafeeds and Reporting.
• Cost Management activities such as ensuring Cost variances are reclaimed promptly and that our costs are accurately set up on our Systems.
• Ensure we are compliant to our Customers requests in all Materials / Purchasing areas.
• Act as an advocate for our Customer to drive prioritization of projects and responses to any problems or issues.
• Develop Supply Chain Proposals to meet Customer needs and achieve Sanmina objectives.
