SAP SD Consultant – Pricing

Role Summary

The SAP SD Consultant – Pricing is responsible for providing functional support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement for SAP Sales and Distribution processes, with a strong focus on Pricing within an Application Management Services (AMS) environment.

This role supports business users by managing incidents, service requests, enhancements, and root cause analysis related to SAP SD pricing and Order-to-Cash processes. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, and technical support teams , to ensure stable system performance, timely issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP SD processes in an AMS / production support environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD Pricing , including pricing determination, pricing procedures, condition records, and condition technique.
• Configure and maintain pricing elements such as:
• Condition Types
• Access Sequences
• Pricing Procedures
• Condition Records
• Account Keys and related pricing configuration
• Support and maintain Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales orders, quotations, contracts, deliveries, billing, and returns.
• Analyze root causes of pricing and sales process issues and provide sustainable functional solutions.
• Work on incidents, service requests, change requests, and minor enhancements in line with AMS SLAs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, and defect resolution.
• Perform impact analysis for requested changes and support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT .
• Ensure proper documentation of configurations, test results, knowledge articles, and support activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SAP SD processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide clear communication and regular status updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer and contribute to best practices within the AMS team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering , or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in SAP SD functional consulting or support roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD Pricing configuration and troubleshooting .
