We are looking for a Cost Specialist to optimize financial efficiency through cost control and analysis, ensuring company profitability through the proper execution of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost and accounts receivable analysis and management.

Monthly financial close with a focus on inventory and costs.

Support the Controllership team with inventory, cost, revaluation, and annual plan reports.

Product costing and transfer pricing determination.

Cost analysis for new products in coordination with Engineering.

Evaluation of production process costs and proposal of cost-reduction actions.

Inventory management and control, including cost variance analysis.

Cost allocation and analysis for corporate reporting and variance explanations.

Customer portfolio management and issuance of account statements.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

✔ 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting.

✔ Manufacturing industry experience (maquiladora experience preferred).

✔ Knowledge of accounting principles (MX GAAP and US GAAP).

✔ Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred) and spreadsheets.

✔ Intermediate English level.

✔ Ability to build financial models and manage projects and costs.

✔ Basic knowledge of economic principles.
