Accounting Assistant

Position Objective

Provide support in the company’s accounting and financial activities, ensuring the timely recording, analysis, and control of accounting information, as well as the preparation of reports that contribute to effective decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist with the recording and review of accounting transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and analysis of accounting accounts.
• Follow up on invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial and administrative reports using data analysis tools.
• Keep accounting information updated in internal systems.
• Support monthly accounting closings and internal/external audits.
• Prepare information and documentation required by the finance department.
• Participate in meetings and communicate with internal teams in English when required.

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or with up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance areas.

Languages

• Conversational and written English (80% or higher).
• Ability to participate in meetings, prepare reports, and communicate via email in English.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and data management).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with administrative systems/ERP software (preferred).
• Ability to interpret financial information and prepare reports.
