Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Mexico (MX) is a high-powered, dynamic team. This team shapes the middle-mile transportation execution and develops innovative transportation management concepts. Key Job Responsibilities

• Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring a safe work environment for Amazon and non-Amazon workers.
• Audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, nail the plan and environmental regulations.
• Meet the OTP/OTD target per shift.
• Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM Manager and site leadership.

The ATS MX Transportation Operation Management (TOM) team is looking for an Area Manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.

As part of Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using road and air transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

• Work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen).
• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees.
• Experience with six sigma methodologies.
