Software Developer Engineer (Tijuana)

Purpose of Position

This position will be responsible for the documentation and development of custom software for all departments. Promote the development of computer platforms that can reduce the labor time in repetitive reporting tasks and/or accelerate calculations that require many sources of data to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation of current systems.
• Presenting ideas for system improvements.
• Working closely with future internal customers to fit their needs.
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the programming codes.
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
• Preparation of training manuals for users.
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related area.
• Experience in design, development, and implementation of custom-fit platforms.
• Experience in software documentation.
• Experience in software languages or patterns: medium level C#; basic level JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, MVC.
• Medium level of sense of urgency, self-starter, highly driven, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, proactive and good team player.
• Highly organized.
• Able to handle multiple projects.
