Position

Operational Excellence Engineer (Cost & Process Focus) – Location: Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Qualifications

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, data and indicator analysis (OEE, scrap, productivity).
• Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement cost‑reduction initiatives in manufacturing processes, targeting savings exceeding 2% of annual sales.
• Analyze cost factors (labor, scrap, downtime) and develop high‑impact solutions.
• Optimize production processes (cycle time, line balancing, flow) to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Improve key performance indicators such as OEE, scrap, quality, and resource utilization.
• Detect bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions that generate measurable benefits.
• Lead improvement projects from identification to implementation, ensuring tangible results.
• Collaborate with global teams to align and implement improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
