Senior Data Engineer (Data Vault)

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Data Engineer to help scale and evolve our modern data platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and has deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and modern data architecture practices.

You’ll work closely with engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and platform teams to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that power reporting, analytics, and business operations across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Architect and administer Snowflake environments
• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build and optimize data warehouse solutions using dbt
• Lead data modeling and schema design initiatives
• Apply Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball methodologies in production environments
• Implement data quality, governance, and compliance controls
• Collaborate closely with engineering, BI, and platform teams
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure

Required Experience

• 5+ years working within data teams
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• 3+ years managing production Snowflake environments
• Strong expertise with Snowflake and dbt
• Strong SQL expertise
• Solid experience with data modeling and warehouse design
• Hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 methodology — critical requirement
• Experience with Kimball methodology — highly preferred
• Python or similar scripting experience
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership mentality

Preferred Experience: Apache Airflow, AWS, Hevo, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Kubernetes, EventStoreDB, MySQL, CI/CD and containerization technologies, Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
