Business Analyst - BA

NTT DATA is looking for high‑achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Business Analyst to work in Tijuana, México (onsite) with our global client.

Work with global and regional teams to support systems implementation, integration, configuration, and improvements to increase business profitability, efficiency, and flexibility. Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

• Working closely with Project management to support the high-level scope understanding, and provide inputs that will define the project’s approach, estimate effort and people to be engaged.
• Working closely with each member of Operations, IT, and other teams to understand and document the business processes, requirements and the enhancement requests related to system features and integration, ensuring it is following the global standardization.
• Working closely with Project management to prepare testing plans, data and execute it, as well as prepare training material and lead training sessions to ensure a complete business solution is implemented to attend Business Requirement.
• Working closely with the product management and development teams to ensure the solution being designed fits the business needs, also on the coordination of the Release Application Management process – release documentation, features analysis impact, validation and communication.
• Preparation of functional requirements that will deliver defined enhancements to meet business needs.
• Engage the experts to ensure the system configuration meets the business needs.
• Participating in the definition, evaluation, development, testing, training and deployment of new system functionalities to the Industrial Lab network.
• Develop and maintain documentation to support application system features – Epics/Features/User Stories.
• Collaborate with the management team to continually improve the quality of system implementation processes.
• Engage the support team during the project aiming to ensure a smooth transition from project to run.
• Engage with multiple levels of organization and multiple levels of customer organizations to ensure the business needs are addressed and aligned with the global standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or related field.

• 3+ years of successful experience in similar roles.
• Experience with business process mapping, business requirement gathering, enhancement request identification, and documentation.
• Experience with system training and functional system test case preparation, test data gathering and test execution, and leading user acceptance tests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
• Demonstrate system implementation experience on large projects (multi-million initiatives).
• Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio required.
• Experience with SQL Language is a plus.
• Experience with Jira is a plus.
• Experience with ERPs like Oracle, SAP or Sales Force.com is a plus.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
