Analyst, Production Planning

The Analyst, Production Planning is responsible for balancing and optimizing supply planning to meet demand, providing input to define and implement supply planning processes, determining priorities, and supporting the creation of MRP for sourcing of materials, DRP, MPS, driving process improvements and leading supply reviews.

Responsibilities

• Supports generation of planned requirements using demand signals, on‑hand inventory, and inventory targets to deliver a comprehensive network supply plan.
• Utilizes data analytics to identify and recommend process improvements for a defined product portfolio.
• Recommends changes to the network supply plan over the planning horizon, governed through S&OE and S&OP processes.
• Communicates with demand planners, customer management, production planning, sales, and finance to provide replenishment plans and exception‑based reporting.
• Recommends actions to meet actual and forecasted demand.
• Supports the supply planning team with new product introductions and product conversions.
• Reports key performance indicators for the Business Unit and drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve service targets and inventory levels.
• Prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a time‑intense environment.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or logistics.
• Experience in an end‑to‑end supply chain role.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in data gathering and quantitative/qualitative analysis linked to business KPIs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to present data clearly to management.
• Ability to work with all levels and functions within the company and external business partners.
• Well organized with high attention to detail.
