What You’ll Do

Enterprise Solutions Senior IT Consultants at BCG Platinion are:

• Collaborative: interdisciplinary team players who build alignment and relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
• Agile advocates: proficient in Agile methodologies to tackle challenges and drive change.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: able to navigate undefined paths and work through the unknown.
• Technical experts: strong IT expertise to drive complex, innovative solutions.
• Change agents: align and onboard teams to implement new processes and toolsets.
• Influencers: build trust and influence stakeholders.

You’re Good At

• Planning, platform solution design, and deployment
• Developing feasibility studies and assessing platform suitability (e.g., Kinaxis, o9) with recommendations
• Supporting core planning process redesign and alignment with platform capabilities
• Leading technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective clients
• Developing functional and non-functional requirements for planning platforms
• Leading full lifecycle implementations for Advanced Planning Systems (APS) in Supply Chain
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying UI/UX and Kinaxis configuration for planning use cases
• Experience conducting data discovery, mapping, transformation, and normalization for APS use cases
• Developing integrated solution architecture designs for APS with ERP, HRIS, data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics applications
• Designing and implementing data integration patterns for secure and performant deployments
• Creating implementation roadmaps and scoping efforts for APS programs
• Ensuring APS align with evolving technology landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA migration)
• Providing guidance on tooling options and trade-offs

Program Management, Value Realization, and Business Impact

• Leading the creation of client-specific strategic materials and surfacing key insights
• Translating technical findings into business impact and measurable improvements
• Delivering accurate and timely communications and materials for fast-paced projects
• Managing organizational change for new planning solutions, stakeholder engagement, and training
• Restructuring IT processes and teams to optimize planning capabilities
• Aligning platform capabilities to deliver value-driven outcomes (e.g., improved demand prediction, reduced inventory, optimized SG&A and operating costs)
• Establishing KPIs and value metrics to measure success and ROI
• Presenting materials and updates to clients and internal teams
• Facilitating technical and strategic workshops with clients and internal teams

Team Management

• Building and nurturing client relationships
• Providing direction on work items and mentoring junior team members
• Managing projects and expectations and handling escalations
• Providing quality assurance oversight on outputs
• Driving consistency of technical work products, including systems integration
• Promoting a positive experience for junior staff
• Demonstrating BCG’s Culture and Values in practice
• Assisting with business development through proposal writing and scoping

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of practical experience leading APS implementations with Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, natural sciences, information technology, business management, or related field
• Experience in business process design and configuration
• Experience managing cross-functional, global deployments for planning transformations
• Supply Chain domain knowledge
• Experience in a management role across two or more end-to-end planning platform implementations in waterfall or agile settings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience managing decision processes at large organizations
• Customer and results orientation
• Confidence and persuasiveness
• Experience planning and managing large, complex projects
• Willingness to travel globally to work with clients and BCG teams; travel may be significant
• Gen AI tool fluency and validation of responses (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
