Plant Controller - Automotive (Querétaro, Mexico)

We are looking for a highly skilled Plant Controller to provide financial leadership at the plant level, ensuring compliance with internal control systems while driving cost efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.

This role plays a key part in supporting operations through cost analysis, financial reporting, and business decision-making , acting as a strategic partner for the plant and operations leadership.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in plant finance and cost accounting
• Proven experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
• Experience working closely with operations, production, and supply chain teams .
• Exposure to profitability improvement initiatives (EBIT optimization).

Specific Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP principles .
• Variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and cost control.
• Inventory management and production cost tracking.
• Financial reporting (P&L, efficiency reports, cost/kg, sales analysis).
• Forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Systems knowledge:
  • SAP S4/Hana
  • Hyperion
  • Advanced Excel
