About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wireless Network Architect to join our team. This role will report into the Network Telephony Services-Domain Lead.

As a Wireless Network Architect, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, owning the end-to-end wireless design and delivery lifecycle. You will provide deep expertise across Cisco Wireless technologies, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to business outcomes.

The Wireless Network Architect will be an integral part of Americas Infrastructure Group and work closely with all IT Pillars teams by providing expertise, troubleshooting and operational support for Americas Zone Network Wireless Infrastructure.

The suitable candidate will be motivated and detail‑oriented, part of the core team that provides end‑to‑end support for Cisco Wireless, Catalyst Center, Cisco Meraki, Cisco ISE, Cisco Switches, SPLUNK, Zscaler, Network Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), Cloud Connectivity, Cisco Wireless and Meraki‑based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-level network architecture solutions, including LANs, WANs, cloud and wireless networks.
• Lead wireless architecture, design and technical delivery for customer engagements.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise across Cisco Wireless technologies.
• Deep understanding of WIFI standards, RF design and spectrum analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Ekahau network design tools.
• Apply building drawings to Ekahau equipment, create heat maps and implement design solutions at required locations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Design, document and deliver High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs (HLD / LLD); develop implementation, migration and test plans.
• Perform wireless surveys, lab testing, proofs of concept and production deployments.
• Support integration with wider enterprise network architectures.
• Work with Global Operations team to steer AMER Zone related incidents and provide faster resolutions.
• Deep understanding of networking principles, protocols (routing: BGP, EIGRP, etc.; routed: TCP/IP), SDWAN and/or SASE deployments, LAN/WAN technologies, cloud integration, data center segmentation, enterprise and security infrastructure.
• Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, IPSec tunnels, GRE tunnels, NAT/PAT configuration, encryption protocols and access controls; monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve latency‑based problems and remediate instability.
• Incorporate cybersecurity into network and infrastructure operations, including application of patches, hot fixes and upgrades on a regular timely basis.
• Plan, design and implement network enhancements and new capabilities.
• Guide architecture and design of networks supporting both Enterprise IT and OT devices.
• Manage projects using Agile methodology, ensuring timely delivery and documentation.
• Develop, schedule, test and communicate the IT Disaster Recovery plan and procedures.
• Integrate cybersecurity best practices into all aspects of network and infrastructure.
• Author and edit SOPs (Statements of Procedures) and system documentation; keep them updated to reflect current status or changes.
• Collaborate with the helpdesk, application and cyber teams to support diverse business initiatives.
• Prioritize work to balance operational tasks, remediate technical debt and pursue long‑term strategic initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require.
• Work effectively in a VUCA environment.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, initiative and high level of responsibility.
• Communicate clearly in written and oral formats; present interactively with team across geographies.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years overall experience building and supporting large‑scale, business‑critical wireless network infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry in Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Experience with any of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible is a plus.
• CCIE Certification is mandatory.
• Ekahau (ECSE) Wireless Certification is mandatory.
• CCNP Enterprise is preferred.
• Cisco Meraki Certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE, DNA Center and Catalyst Center.
