What You Will Do

• Design major components or major portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototypes, and specific products using computer design and engineering systems.
• Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Develop data and make parametric models, layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals. Investigate pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.
• Design, develop, and test metallic or non‑metallic structures, or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.

Qualifications You Must Have

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience.
• Engineering/Other Technical - Verbal and written communication, Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Value Engineering, Producibility and Sustaining for team with program Customer.
• CATIA basics.
• Ability to communicate effectively and focus on results, customers, and develop/share knowledge.
• Motivate members and create a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of composites.
• Certification with Six Sigma.
• Certification with MBA or Technical MSc.
