Job Summary

Supports manufacturing processes by performing many technical tasks while ensuring compliance with the prevailing safety and quality procedures and policies. Manager for 10-15 operators, responsible to set and inspect the cutting tools of the facility; also will manage the cutting tools selection, FIFO system and improvements related to the tools.

What You Will Do

• Executing manufacturing tasks and processes according to defined SOPs and accurately documenting data and related batch records.

• Training new and junior employees on SOP's, safety procedures, policies and standards.

• Providing support to manufacturing processes with activities such as selection of cutting tools, processes and equipment, implementing manufacturing best practices, and reporting.

• Manage and implement a FIFO system for the perishable & durable tools used across all the Value streams

• Manager for 10-15 operators with high technical level.

• Identifying issues related to manufacturing processes and implementing process improvements.

Required Profile

Education: Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineer or related field.

Language: English: Low / Intermediate

What you have

• Operational Functions: Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations, such as support value stream metrics successful, stop to fix, inventory management.

• Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process, such as manage TMS software, determine max and mins for perishable tooling.

• Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance. Examples: drawing interpretation, standards like ISO and ANSI.

• Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment, such as Stop to Fix, Gemba walks.

Top Candidates will have:

• Knowledge in Zoller machines

• Previous job roles related to Manage people

• CNC Cutting tools selection, setting and manage.

• Knowledge to design in NX / Autocad or similar software

Additional Information:

• The location for this position is Cienega de Flores, Facility 6

• This position will travel / not require travel.

• Work Model: On site, Monday to Saturday with availability to rotate shifts.
