Oracle Fusion Cost Management – Functional Senior Associate

PwC is seeking Oracle Fusion Cost Management Functional Consultants at the Senior Associate levels to support Oracle Cloud implementation and transformation programs. The role will focus on Cost Management, with strong integration across Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, and Financials.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• MBA, M.Com, CA, CMA, CPA, or other relevant postgraduate/professional qualification is preferred.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud certification is preferred, particularly in Cost Management, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, SCM, or Financials.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of product costing, manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, cost accounting, SLA, and period-end reconciliation.
• Strong English language proficiency, with effective written and verbal communication skills for client interactions, workshops, documentation, and presentations.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing consulting skills.
• Familiarity with OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, ADFdi, REST APIs, OIC, or SQL is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Cost Management, including Cost Organizations, Cost Books, Cost Profiles, Valuation Structures, Cost Elements, Standard/Average Costing, Receipt Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
• Support Manufacturing costing processes including work order costing, material issues and returns, resource and overhead costs, product completion, scrap, and manufacturing variances.
• Understand end-to-end manufacturing flows including Work Definitions, Work Orders, Material Transactions, Resource Transactions, Product Completion, and Cost Accounting.
• Support Inventory processes including inventory valuation, interorganizational transfers, miscellaneous transactions, and related accounting.
• Support integration with Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, AP, GL, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Configure and troubleshoot SLA accounting rules, account derivation, accounting distributions, and journal entries related to costing transactions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, process design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live support.
• Analyze costing, manufacturing variance, inventory valuation, accounting, and reconciliation issues.
• Senior Associates will lead functional workstreams, client workshops, solution design, defect resolution, and mentor junior team members.

Experience:

• 4–8 years of relevant Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cost Management, preferably with Manufacturing and Inventory.
• Participation in at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation preferred.
• Strong understanding of Cost Management integration with Manufacturing, Inventory, Financials, and SLA.

Preferred Functional Experience:

• Oracle Fusion Manufacturing and Inventory Management experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with work order costing, material/resource/overhead costing, standard cost rollups, cost updates, scrap, manufacturing variances, finished goods completion, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA), including accounting rules, account derivation, journal generation, and reconciliation to GL.
• Exposure to Procurement, Receipt Accounting, Order Management, and Financials integration is an advantage.
