Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our team as Economic Market Research Specialist.

Essencial Job Requirements

• +2 years of working experience in market research (data management, report preparation, and strategic decision-making).
• Advanced English – extensive knowledge of business technical language (bilingual).
• Valid visa.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational skills, and initiative.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft products, specifically Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, R, or similar).
• Desired knowledge of SQL programming language (Snowflake) and Python.
• Desired knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal or Thompson Reuters Eikon

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for transforming economic and commodity market data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions across regional and global operations. This role involves analyzing market trends, preparing reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations, and communicating key findings to commercial, logistics, operations, and leadership teams across Mexico, the United States, and global offices.

You will also contribute to forecasting activities, maintain and enhance market databases and supply-demand models, support research initiatives, and assist in the development of written and verbal business presentations to strengthen decision-making and overall market analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate economic and market insights through reports, data visualizations, and presentations.
• Monitor economic regulations, global trends, and market developments to support forecasting and business analysis.
• Maintain databases and support supply-demand and statistical modeling for domestic and international business operations.
• Support research initiatives by identifying valuable information sources and summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by responding to business inquiries and delivering periodic market and country outlook presentations.
• Conduct field analysis related to crop conditions and production trends.
• Perform additional responsibilities aligned with departmental objectives.
