Position : Materials Planner Associate II

Principal Accountabilities

• Plan and pipeline inventory using Demantra for high complex customer demand - high dollar value and/or large part count.
• Prepare both Arrow generated and customer supplied forecast uploads to Demantra and manage the exceptions generated from the Demantra processing. Resolve any upload and/or output issues from Demantra.
• Review Demantra parameters and make recommendations/changes to ensure achievement of company inventory turns goals. Use Demantra with Manugistics where applicable to assure best forecast input.
• Manage the more complex In-Plant Stores and consignment engagements to assure both adequate supply and maximum turns.
• Manage excess inventory including concentration on slow moving and/or sludge.
• Represent the regional planning team in setting up consignments/In-Plant Stores, kanban systems, ABC Low Value analyses, etc. Work with Digital Supply Chain Solutions and Sales in implementation of new engagements until operational.
• Participate as regional inventory champion on CPI teams or other inventory related task forces. Provide training and/or mentor new material planners and be backup for Regional Materials Manager as required.

Job Complexity & Support

• Has no discretion to vary from established procedures.
• Has no related work experience or has work experience but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
• Works under general supervision.
• Fluent English. Intermediate - Advanced Excel.

Support (Associate)

• Has advanced specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
• Acts as an informal resource for colleagues.
• Identifies and resolves key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
• Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions.
• A senior level support role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Materials Planner or 4 years of experience as a Customer Support with focus in Planning.

Annual Hiring Range / Hourly Rate: $22,****** – $30,****** MXN Monthly
