Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.**Key Responsibilities**As a **Mechanical Engineer**, you'll be responsible for:* Manage elements of product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.* Execute test and qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components. Review test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.* Enhance commonality and optimization of product & components.* Test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects and necessity of modification.* Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests* Work with quality clinic and related departments to support the test and verification of field issues.**Requirements**We are looking for people who are analitical and experience dealing with managers and stakeholders. If this is you, get in touch.As a minimum you must have:* Advanced English.* Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree, combined with experience.* BOM Knowledge.* Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.* University Degree or equivalent a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.* Knowledge of refrigeration systems.* Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams.**Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:*** HVAC background experience.**Benefits**We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well‐being programs.
