Paint Robot Engineer

This Position is based in Indiana, USA. Candidate needs to relocate to the USA.

Job Description

Responsibility: This person will be creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process.

• Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study , conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC , and dampening coat robot processes.
• Or Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.
• This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process. Position will include travel to US, Mexico and Canada to support projects. Position will report to the Digital Engineering Manager.
• Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.

Requirements:

2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience Or 4 years technical degree or equivalent work experience

• Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
• Experience with Digital Engineering
