Tax Specialist (1-year contract) - VAT Refund

Job Description

Technical and Tax Knowledge

• Mastery of the VAT Law- solid experience in determining credit balances, accreditation and deduction requirements.
• Hands -on experience with the Electronic Refund Form (FED) through the SAT portal.
• Ability to responds to SAT information and documentation requirements derived from refund requests.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT refund requests.
• Perform accounting data reconciliations for accurate submission to the SAT.

Qualifications

Experience and professional profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or related field
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in tax or fiscal compliance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Refund Forms (FED) and SAT portal systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Capacity to analyze large volumes of information
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Basic to Intermediate English Communication is advantageous to deal with internal stakeholders
