About the Role:

Join us as a hands-on Engineering Lead to rebuild a complex legacy financial platform from the ground up. This greenfield modernization project focuses on delivering a scalable, modular architecture with .NET backend, React frontend, SQL Server, and cloud (Azure/AWS) – setting the foundation for future AI-powered features.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a senior engineering team to deliver feature parity and modernize the platform end-to-end.
• Define and drive architecture decisions balancing quality, scalability, and speed.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders through facilitated, dynamic workshops (JADx) to shape solutions.
• Implement AI-assisted development workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor to boost productivity.
• Mentor engineers and maintain high standards in code quality, testing, security, and cloud deployment.
• Translate legacy system behaviors and business workflows into clean, modern implementations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven hands-on leadership experience in .NET backend and modern frontend (React).
• Strong SQL Server skills and expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with modular, service-based architectures (including BFF patterns).
• Ability to lead teams working from high-level specs in an autonomous, collaborative environment.
• Practical use of AI-assisted engineering tools in real project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus:

• Experience in financial services or rebuilding legacy enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Joint Application Development (JAD) or similar collaborative discovery methods.
