Quality Performance Engineer (Reynosa)

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of internal activities related to incoming inspection, process control, and quality assurance for products shipped to our customers. This role involves planning, implementing, and coordinating prevention, control, and quality assurance activities to meet the quality expectations of both our customers and the company. Coordinate all activities of planning the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) of new products and processes. Develop and maintain control plans for the production lines under his responsibility according to analysis of variation sources and customer requirements, and ensure documentation, training and monitoring is being carried out by the production staff. Perform process audits to verify compliance with established standards (ISO **** and AS*****, Control Plans, Customer certifications, corrective actions, etc.) Generate and communicate quality alerts for internal and customer compliant. Lead with manufacturing and engineering departments the identification (record), monitoring and elimination of major quality problems identified in the process through the use of quality tools. Collaborate with the Manufacturing department in the coordination of customer problem solving activities, including generate and document of 8 D's, and obtaining the necessary data for root cause analysis and determination of permanent corrective actions. Coordinate and participate in the activities of implementation and maintenance of the Quality System of the company. Generate actions that prevent the occurrence of discrepancies related to the product, process and the Quality System, including put on hold the production area when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, etc.).

• Knowledge / Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• 5+ years in the Manufacture Industry as Quality Engineer, knowledge of production processes.
• Knowledge and practice of problem solving methods such as 8 D, 5 why, Case or another quality tools existing method in the manufacturing industry.
• Variation analysis techniques and process evaluation (PFMEA and Process Control Plan).
• Statistical Process Control.
