Position Summary

MezTal is looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our team in Guadalajara and support one of our U.S.-based clients in the healthcare industry.

We are looking for a hands‑on creative professional with experience creating graphic and video content for U.S.-based companies and audiences . This role will work directly with a U.S. marketing team to produce high-quality visual content across digital, print, social media, presentations, product materials, and video.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating both static graphic design and video editing , is proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, and understands how to translate creative briefs and business needs into polished, professional content for the U.S. market .

This role requires professional English , as day‑to‑day collaboration, meetings, creative briefs, feedback, and communication with stakeholders will be primarily in English.

This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Jalisco .

Responsibilities

Graphic & Marketing Design

• Create marketing and sales materials for the U.S. market, including brochures, one‑pagers, presentations, infographics, product materials, and other branded collateral.
• Design assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, digital marketing, and internal communications.
• Create and adapt graphics across print and digital formats.
• Edit and optimize photography, product images, and other visual assets.
• Prepare print‑ready and digital‑ready files while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Video & Multimedia

• Edit and produce video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product communications, training, events, and other business needs.
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging video content.
• Create basic motion graphics, animations, titles, transitions, and other visual elements when needed.
• Support photo and video shoots and work with basic lighting, audio, and production equipment as required.
• Maintain organized project files, raw footage, source files, and final assets.

Brand & Creative Execution

• Apply brand guidelines consistently across digital, print, and multimedia materials.
• Work within established creative direction while contributing ideas to improve visual execution.
• Support branding and rebranding initiatives as the company's visual identity continues to evolve.
• Ensure consistency across typography, imagery, layout, color, and overall visual communication.
• Adapt creative work to the expectations, audiences, and communication standards of the U.S. market.

Collaboration & Project Management

• Collaborate directly with U.S.-based Marketing and other internal stakeholders .
• Participate in meetings, receive creative briefs, discuss projects, and incorporate feedback in English.
• Translate creative briefs, product information, and business needs into effective visual content.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Take ownership of assigned creative projects from initial request through final delivery.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently and make revisions as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or a related creative role.
• Strong hands‑on experience in both graphic design and video editing .
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies, clients, or teams and creating marketing or multimedia content for the U.S. market.
• A portfolio is required and should demonstrate actual work across both static graphic design and video/multimedia projects.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud , particularly:
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• InDesign
• Hands‑on experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable tools .
• Experience creating content across multiple formats, including social media, digital marketing, presentations, marketing collateral, and print.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to take a creative brief and turn it into polished, production‑ready materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Professional English proficiency , with the ability to confidently participate in meetings, understand creative direction, explain design decisions, receive feedback, and collaborate directly with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Guadalajara, Jalisco .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating visual content for healthcare, medical products, B2B products, or other product‑focused industries .
• Experience with Figma and Canva .
• Experience with motion graphics or animation tools such as After Effects .
• Experience supporting branding or rebranding projects.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI‑powered creative/productivity tools , with the ability to explain how they are incorporated into your creative workflow.
• Experience supporting photo or video shoots.
• Ability to travel to the United States occasionally if future business needs require it.
