Integrated solutions well engineer – completions/workover

driving technical excellence through data‑driven well engineering and integrated project execution.

the role is responsible for executing well engineering activities across the full lifecycle of wells, ensuring alignment with the integrated solutions management system, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This includes concept and tendering stages through planning, execution, and project close‑out with a strong focus on completions, workover operations, and well intervention programs.

Key responsibilities

• prepare well designs, technical requirements, and operational plans for completions, workover, and intervention activities.
• support tendering phases with engineering input while collaborating with commercial and procurement teams.
• develop detailed well programs and procedures, including intervention and repair (workover) operations.
• utilize tools such as vcdse to support engineering design and planning activities.
• define required technical services and coordinate third‑party involvement.
• prepare cost estimates, operational timelines, and project schedules.
• build risk registers and contingency plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• monitor daily progress of operations and track project expenditure.
• ensure compliance with hse standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• engage with customers and stakeholders through technical presentations and operational updates.
• track kpis and benchmark performance against defined objectives and offset well data.
• support root cause analysis (rca) investigations and implement corrective actions.
• prepare technical documentation including end of well reports and lessons learned.
• ensure proper data management in line with company procedures.
• drive continuous improvement through best practices and technology adoption.

Qualifications and experience

• bachelor’s degree in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering (master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in well construction, completions, workover, or intervention operations.
• experience in well design, intervention programs, simulations, or field operations.
• strong knowledge or exposure to vcdse (virtual collaborative design system environment).
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in complex environments.
• excellent communication skills; minimum english level b2 (intermediate).
• proficiency in ms office, power bi, and well engineering software tools.
• ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and stakeholders.
