Logistics Manager

About the Role

Lead Mexico Logistics operations, ensuring operational excellence, business continuity, cost efficiency, and alignment with GSC strategic priorities. Responsible for driving scalable and standardized processes, logistics cost management, data-driven decision making, and the execution of strategic logistics projects. The role will promote AI and digital tool adoption, develop team capabilities through leadership and delegation, and support business growth through continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations across Mexico. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, transportation, warehousing, customer deliveries, and distribution processes while driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with strategic thinking, possessing the ability to successfully manage a high-volume logistics operation while leading transformation initiatives, process improvements, and organizational scalability within a fast-paced multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, customer deliveries, and distribution.
• Ensure business continuity and operational excellence across daily logistics execution, maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies to improve efficiency, service levels, scalability, and cost performance.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and warehouse partners, ensuring operational performance and accountability.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels while ensuring product availability and inventory accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and process optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision making.
• Manage logistics budgets, cost visibility, identify savings opportunities, and ensure effective resource utilization.
• Drive digital transformation, AI adoption, automation projects, and process standardization to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Lead strategic logistics projects and transformation initiatives while balancing day-to-day operational requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop logistics teams to achieve business objectives and build organizational capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or distribution management.
• Strong experience leading projects related to digital transformation, AI adoption, and automation.
• Proven experience managing high-volume logistics operations, transportation networks, warehouse operations, and logistics service providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing logistics budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and performance reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technology, electronics, manufacturing, or consumer goods industry.
• Experience leading regional or multi-site logistics operations.
• Experience driving logistics automation, digital transformation, or AI adoption initiatives.
• AI projects
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
