Ignite PPC is a B2B marketing agency helping businesses generate qualified leads and inbound calls through Google pay‑per‑click marketing, YouTube marketing, and demand generation campaigns. We work with companies in industries such as home services, legal, real estate investing, and other B2B service markets.
We are looking for a proven outbound sales leader to build our outbound sales function from the ground up. This is a true ground‑build leadership role; we do not seek someone to manage an existing team, but someone who has built outbound systems before and knows how to create a predictable pipeline through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, strong sales processes, and remote sales teams.
Role Overview
As Head of Outbound Sales, you will own the strategy, build‑out, and performance of our outbound sales department. Your responsibilities include creating the outbound playbook, building the team, setting the KPIs, managing daily execution, improving messaging, coaching reps, and creating a repeatable pipeline generation system for our agency. You will have resources available for tools, data, recruiting, systems, and team growth.
What You’ll Own
- Build the outbound sales function from zero.
- Create and manage outbound campaigns across cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels.
- Define ICPs, targeting, messaging, offers, scripts, email sequences, and follow‑up systems.
- Hire, train, coach, and manage remote SDRs, BDRs, and appointment setters.
- Build the outbound sales playbook, including daily activity standards, call QA, objection handling, pipeline stages, CRM workflows, reporting, and rep scorecards.
- Own outbound KPIs such as dials, connects, conversations, replies, booked calls, show rates, qualified opportunities, and pipeline quality.
- Work closely with leadership to improve campaign strategy, sales messaging, lead quality, and revenue outcomes.
- Diagnose performance issues quickly and determine whether the problem lies in targeting, messaging, activity, conversion, rep skill, or follow‑up.
- Create a culture of execution, accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building or scaling an outbound sales team.
- Experience selling or generating pipeline for B2B marketing services, lead generation, SaaS, or other high‑ticket B2B services.
- Strong experience with cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outbound, and appointment setting.
- Experience hiring, training, managing, and coaching remote SDRs, BDRs, or appointment setters.
- Strong understanding of outbound KPIs, CRM management, sales development systems, and pipeline reporting.
- Ability to build systems from scratch, not just follow an existing playbook.
- Comfortable being hands‑on with scripts, call reviews, email reviews, reporting, coaching, hiring, and process improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable while helping them improve.
- Highly organized, numbers‑driven, direct, and proactive.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment.
- Nice to have: experience selling marketing agency services, paid media, SEO, lead generation, or performance marketing.
- Nice to have: experience building outbound campaigns for home services, legal, real estate, or similar B2B service markets.
- Nice to have: experience with tools like GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, Clay, Sales Navigator, Close, Orum, or similar platforms.
- Nice to have: experience managing international or offshore SDR teams.
- Nice to have: experience creating compensation plans, onboarding programs, training systems, and sales scorecards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is for a driver who can assess the opportunity, build the strategy, hire the right people, create the outbound playbook, lead the team, and improve performance through data and execution. Outbound is not just “make more calls” or “send more emails”; it requires the right market, list, offer, message, cadence, rep training, CRM process, follow‑up, accountability, and constant iteration.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and fit. The role may include a base salary, performance incentives, and growth opportunities as the outbound department scales.
