Position Details

• Role: Sr System Engineer (Support)
• Location: Guadalajara & Mexico City (Hybrid)
• Type of Hire: Full Time

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Extensive Knowledge of Server administration, Cisco, Dell, Windows, and Linux
• Storage administration - Pure, Compellent, Infinidat (nice to have)
• VMWare administration, engineering, and operations
• Data center knowledge - servers, storage, cabling.
• Familiarity with racking and cabling servers and storage devices and network connections thereof
• Back up Administration - CommVault and Rubrik a nice to have
• Monitoring Administration - Logic Monitor
• Ability to work from home.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning/organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent reasoning and research skills.
• Inquisitive, curious, highly self-motivated to learn new business concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to build team and external business relationships.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve results.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues on complex server environments, log tailing, etc.
• Understanding of file system structures.
• FTP/SFTP setup and administration
• Understanding of Change Management process
• Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring
• Ability to carry projects over the finish line with mínimal oversight.
• Ability/requirement to mentor other more associate team members.
• AWS administration, engineering, and operations
• Azure administration, engineering, and operations
