In this strategic role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Atlassian ecosystem, driving digital transformation and enabling seamless collaboration across the enterprise.What You'll Do:Strategic Planning & Architecture : Design and architect scalable Atlassian solutions aligned with organizational goals and technical roadmapSystem Leadership : Lead the administration, maintenance, and governance of Jira, Confluence, and Trello environments across cloud and on-premise deploymentsAdvanced Configuration : Develop complex workflows, automation rules, and custom solutions using Jira Automation, Scripts, and APIsIntegration Strategy : Architect and oversee integrations between Atlassian tools and enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperabilityTeam Leadership : Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teamsPerformance & Optimization : Monitor system health, capacity planning, and implement performance enhancements to support organizational growthSecurity & Governance : Establish security protocols, access management frameworks, and ensure compliance with enterprise standardsInnovation & Roadmap : Evaluate new Atlassian features and third-party solutions, recommending enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiencyDocumentation & Knowledge Management : Create comprehensive architectural documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases in ConfluenceStakeholder Management : Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to understand requirements and deliver solutionsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)7+ years of professional experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, and Trello)3+ years in a senior or leadership role managing Atlassian environmentsExpert-level knowledge of Jira administration, including advanced workflow design, custom fields, and automationAdvanced proficiency in Confluence architecture, space management, and content governanceStrong experience with Trello administration and automationProven experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrationsSolid understanding of cloud and on-premise deployment modelsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skillsStrong leadership and communication abilitiesPreferred Qualifications :Atlassian Certified Administrator (Jira and/or Confluence)Atlassian Certified Associate or Expert level certificationsExperience with Atlassian Cloud Premium or Enterprise deploymentsProficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or similar)Knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace app development or customizationExperience with agile transformation and organizational change managementBackground in enterprise architecture or IT infrastructureExperience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools integrationExperience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Jira Service Management) and their cloud-specific features, including configurations, permissions, workflows, and add-ons.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.Location Mexico City, MexicoClick here to learn more about the benefits we offer in Mexico.The #TeamGBT ExperienceWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.Flexible benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
