Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, leading productivity projects, optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and supporting the deployment of Lean Manufacturing principles across the operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, Lean methodologies, and data-driven problem solving, with the ability to influence teams at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Identify and eliminate process waste through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping exercises, and process optimization projects.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and operational performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement standardized work, visual management tools, and process controls.
• Support problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project results.
• Support capacity, workflow, layout, and labor optimization projects.
• Drive employee engagement in continuous improvement activities and foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Participate in strategic initiatives related to manufacturing transformation and operational excellence programs.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Language: Advanced English required.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operational Excellence roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading productivity and cost reduction projects.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and driving cultural change initiatives.
• Experience working directly with production operations and cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
