Identity Management Consultant

Location: Santa Fe, Mexico City (100% on-site)

Tential is seeking an Access Specialist Level III to serve as a senior member of an enterprise identity and access team. This role combines hands-on access provisioning with escalation support, process improvement, automation, security-policy enforcement, mentoring, and collaboration with audit and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Provision and remove user access during onboarding and offboarding, including role-based provisioning and secure credential management.
• Act as an escalation point for complex day-to-day access requests while enforcing least-privilege principles.
• Lead access-management process improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on automation and self-service.
• Write, update, and review process documentation as issues, exceptions, and process changes are identified.
• Provide timely solutions to complex or unique access-related issues.
• Support security and internal audit teams in enforcing access-control policies and resolving access-related findings.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on access-management procedures and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to support users across multiple time zones.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation as required.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT support, identity and access management, provisioning, or a related enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory and Okta environments.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, including reporting and task management.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional work using tools such as Jira and Smartsheet.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell or comparable scripting for administration and automation.
• Knowledge of server and PC workstation operating systems, software, and security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain effective and calm in a fast-moving environment and work independently when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, MCSE certification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in a lead, mentoring, or senior escalation role.
• Familiarity with game-development processes, consoles, or related terminology.
