Job Overview

We are looking for a Lighting Design Release Engineer with strong experience in automotive exterior lighting design and component release. The ideal candidate will support the development and release of headlamps, tail lamps, center light panels, corner lamps, and other exterior lighting components .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and release automotive exterior lighting components from concept through production.
• Work with CATIA V6, A-class surfaces, 3D modeling, and engineering drawings .
• Review styling designs and ensure manufacturing feasibility.
• Support DFM/DFA, packaging, GD&T, and component integration .
• Coordinate with Tier-I suppliers, styling, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
• Manage design changes, engineering releases, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve design, fitment, packaging, and manufacturing issues.
• Support prototype builds, validation, and production implementation.

Required Skills

• Strong automotive exterior lighting design/release experience.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V6 and A-class surfaces.
• Experience with headlamps, tail lamps, corner lamps, or center light panels.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility and DFM .
• Experience working with Tier-I suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams .
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, packaging, and component integration.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
